Inesscents African Black Soap is produced and obtained according to Fair Trade standards and is the traditional soap used by people throughout West Africa for centuries. The dark color of the soap is attributed to the drying, grinding and roasting of cocoa pods and plantain peels, which are then boiled with local plant oils.
Ingredients: Aqua (purified water), Theobroma cacoa (cocoa) pod powder, Plantago major (plantain) peel powder, Cocos nucifera (virgin coconut) oil, and Elaeis guineensis (virgin palm kernel) oil.
Suggested Uses: Traditionally used as a holistic face and body wash. This can also be used as an effective cleanser to support minor skin irritations and conditions. For best results, keep out of standing water.
I have been using Bronners soap which I don't like but, due to mild skin conditions, use anyway. I decided to try this soap and I am so pleased with the product. Quality excellent with no fragrance but it is pleasing in scent as opposed to Bronners which seems dull and musty to me. My skin feels clean with no adverse reaction.
