Fair for Her

On International Women's Day Amber Ashley, Co-Founder and President of Inesscents Aromatic Botanicals was recognized by Fair Trade USA as a leading woman in the Fair-Trade industry. Fair Trade USA enables sustainable development and community empowerment by cultivating a more equitable global trade model that benefits farmers, workers, consumers, industry and the earth. Amber IS the heart of Inesscents and this acknowledgment brought our entire crew smiles!

Legal Hemp in the USA: The 2018 Farm Bill

Hemp in all its forms, whether used as food, medicine, or textile represents one of the first crops domesticated by humans. Then, the war on drugs brought about negative associations with the psychoactive cannabis properties spilled over onto hemp, marijuana’s close cousin. The result led to decades of prohibition in the U.S. The 2018 Farm Bill completely removes hemp and anything made from hemp from the Controlled Substances Act. This opens the door to a true healing of the nations, and allows us to explore this wonderful botanical in our products!

First B Corps CBD Brand

Although we have been a B Corps for almost ten years now, it was only within the last two years that we approached them for continued recognition around our ever-growing line of CBD products. We worked with the B Corps team, educating them on the benefits of CBD in Body Care while also detailing our practices and making our tractability fully transparent. We are now the first B Corps to have CBD in our products.

New Product Development

The past few months here at the Inesscents warehouse have been highly exhilarating. Our team has been busting hard to formulate, package, brand, write copy, approve labels, find the right bottles and boxes and bags and so much more. It’s been warp speed, and we are stoked. Be on the lookout for some innovative, vivacious, instantly loveable products…… coming soon.

We have to say that none of what we do would be possible without you! Eighteen years strong and not one day goes by where we wouldn’t be here for the love of the game, and people supporting us. Our mission grows stronger every year and with each new endeavor. All of us here are family, and have families. The work that we do is the work that we believe in.
